Anyone have/had a child who had to drink pediasure?
DS is 15 months and has fallen off the charts for his weight . He was always in the 90th percentile for weight and since he was 9 months he has slowly been dropping, which I know is normal. We had his 15 month appointment today and he only gained 4 ozs since his 12 month appointment. My ped suggested that I give him pediasure twice a day as I need to increase the calories that he is getting in a day. Anyone have any experience with this? Did you go straight to pediasure or mix milk and pediasure? What is the cheapest place to buy it? TIA!!!!

My son had to drink it. We only recently started to mix it with milk. BJs has good prices on it. Just so you know, the strawberry seemed to go bad very easily. We would never keep the stawberry out for more than half an hour.

my ds drinks it. we give him 2 a day. make sure you brush his teeth after bc it has a lot of sugar in it. i give it straight but mixed it with milk in the begining bc it's heavy.
my ds' insurance covers it. get your dr. to write a prescription and see if it is covered.
