Anyone have/had the PBK Cottage Loft Bed for DD?
The reviews on their website are great but curious to get some info on the practicality of it.
At what age do you think they'd grow out of it? How hard will it be to make the bed?
It's a pretty expensive investment so thoughts/feedback/opinions are all welcome!

Re: Anyone have/had the PBK Cottage Loft Bed for DD?
I don't have it, but it looks great - it does look like something that will be grown out of quickly though - but the time they are old enough to climb up and down by themselves and sleep that high, I would think that it wouldn't be too long that they would stop playing with things like play kitchens (like in the pic).
Also, it is 6 feet high, so unless you have 10 foot ceilings, I would think it would be too close - especially as they get bigger.
Have you looked at Casco kids? I took DD there to look for furniture and they had a lot of options that are cute for little kids but would be able to be used as they get bigger too.

Since the kitchen isn't attached you could get a few more years out of it by making a desk area or comfy reading nook in the house part.

I think it would be hard to make the bed. I think she wouldn't grow out of it until around 9-10. Like a PP said, take the kitchen out and do a desk area or a cute mini couch and a tv on a stand for a media area.
I would get it but then again, PBK is like crack to me, I can't stay away they keep making the cutest stuff!!

If you have the height to do it I would. The kitchen doesn't come with it so you could do whatever you wanted inside. It's just the house/bunk bed shell. I think you would get a lot of time out of it because even as she gets older like pp said a desk or book shelves/reading area would be super cute! I would love to get this for DD when she is old enough if we have a different house!

Thank you so much for all of your feedback! Definitely need to measure ceiling height. I like the idea of the desk underneath once she gets a little older. I would have loved this as a little girl
