Anyone have ideas for making Christmas cards?
I don't have enough time to make cards for everyone on my list but figured I would try to do so for some close fam and friends who would appreciate it. Anyone have any samples? I have been looking thru magazines for ideas... TIA

Daniela - I bought pre-folded cards to make my life easier and then stamped a simple design, printed out the interior message. It didn't take long at all!

Michael's sells kits to make your own cards...all supplies are in there.
You could use a rubber stamp.....stamp it on white, color it in with markers or colored pencils, then place that on a colored card.

Re: Anyone have ideas for making Christmas cards?
I made some invites for Thanksgiving dinner (I'll try to post a scan later). Two things I did that worked nicely were to use a small stamp with Versamark to print an all-over pattern on the front of the card to add some visual interest. (the Versamark is clear and leaves an impression in a darker version of the cardstock, if you've never tried that technique). I also printed the interior sentiment and info on my computer then cut and adhered the panels, and the stamped decorative portion was also done seperately. It let me add contrast, and by doing them all in seperate elements I didn't have to worry about screwing up a card when I was almost done!

Re: Anyone have ideas for making Christmas cards?
I would love to see pics...
I wanted to send an invitation to my inlaws for Christmas day dinner... We have always spent the holidays there and I thought I would host Christmas Day in our new home.. I wanted to also send the invite to other family members for dessert that night... I would love ideas...
TIA

Re: Anyone have ideas for making Christmas cards?
saw some variations of this in one of the paper crafting mags, I may try it with some funky colored scraps as well. Looks pretty simple, but fun!
this one is from SCS ( link in above post) not mine....hemeynell was the creator. Image Attachment(s):
