Anyone have methods for calming a colicy baby?
I do use the 5 "s" but that doesn't always help. Any other ideas?

run the vaccuum cleaner, friends of mine made a tape recording of the noise and put it in the crib with her.

Yes, and that doesn't really help at all.

The hair dryer or a static channel always helped dd.

White noise really worked wonders for us. We used to tune a radio between stations to get the static noise.

Try Gripe Water, it is all natural and helps. Also my mom got us the "Happy Tummy" - it didn't work 100% but it did seem to calm DS many times.

I don't think DD was colicy, but she definitely had a witching hour. Running the water in the bathroom sink while standing in front of the mirror/lights always calmed her down.

Same here, I forgot about that, it worked for us too. DS wasn't colicy either
