Anyone have nightmares the first couple weeks?

I have had a nightmare almost every night since I found out I was preggo...about weird things! Last night I drempt about two vampires..one was good and one was bad, and eventually the good one bit the bad one's face...then the bad one turned into puzzle pieces that fell to the floor, and there was another bad vampire underneath um.. What the hell is that!? I woke up all freaked out from it.

I have had bizarre dreams throughout my pregnancy. They are all very vivid. I have dreamt that I was a contestant on American Idol and just the other night I dreamt I was bungee jumping at Adventureland!! Also, I remember having a dream awhile back that my DH left me after I found out I was pg!! I think this is all normal (I hope, LOL).....your body is going through a lot of changes and I would not worry about the dreams, just laugh at them like I do!!

Absolutely!!! I have had the most vivid, bizarre dreams in the beginning and still do at 17 wks. I believe it is from the increase in progesterone in your body.

The extra progesterone that you have in your body due to pregnancy makes your dreams much more vivid and memorable. It does slow down later or else you just become too tired to remember it.

i had some of the craziest dreams ever at the begining, my favorite was brittany spears chasing me through the woods trying to kill me lol they ended around month 5 or 6 tho.
