Anyone have or know anyone with Vasovagal??
DH was diagnosed with this after a scary experience in the ER the other night. Was wondering if anyone else had some experience with it. It does mostly affect males though.

Vasovagal syncope is basically a fancy term for fainting. It's generally not considered serious- just a temporary loss in blood pressure.
Does it happen often to DH?

I was diagnosed...but it turned out I had anxiety disorder also!

Well, he always said he hated hospitals and felt faint in them-- I never chalked it up to anything.
We went to the ER the other night because he had an allergic reaction to somehting he ate, and we thought better safe than sorry-- to head over there.
They gave him a shot of steroids to get rid of the redness and hives... and 5 mins later, he like had a mini-seizure and passed out. Thank god we were sitting down.
He actually fainted one other time in front of me- when we first started dating. That time, I think he was extremely dehydrated since we were nowhere near a hospital.
