Anyone have PUPPS? What works for you?
Yesterday, I started to experience the most painful, unbearable itch all over my belly & ankles that I have ever experienced. I'm pretty sure it's pupps, which I've never had with DC#1. I tried rubbing alcohol, calamine lotion, cortizone & none of these things worked. I searched online & read that many felt relief from using diaper rash cream. I ran to DS' room & used his Butt Paste & it helped right away. The itchyness subsided for about 5 hours, which is amazing but my red bumps are still there.
I've also read that using Grandpa's Tar Pine Soap for 4 or 5 days helps get rid of the itch & red bumps as well as using Dandelion Root Capsles or Tea. I'm going to go out & pick these things up tomorrow but wanted to know if anyone has any other remedy they use.

Not sure what will work. I am lucky that I got it at the end and not severe. Talk to your OB they can offer advice or prescribe somehting.
My ob said sorry to say but the only thing that will totally end PUPPS is giving birth!

Yes, my ob said that I can take benadryl and see a Derm but there's not much they can do.
I think I'll try the soap/ dandelion root combo & report back in 7 days :)

Re: Anyone have PUPPS? What works for you?
Thanks for the link! I made DH go out & find me grandpa's pine tar soap last night & while it smells like gross burnt bacon, I was able to sleep (with benadryl's help too) & woke up this morning with much less of a desire to rip my skin off, the bumps are still red though but I've only used the soap 1x so far. Today, I'm going to go to another GNC to try & find those dandelion capsles.

Re: Anyone have PUPPS? What works for you?
I have no remedy to share but just want to tell you I'm sorry! My sister had that and was just miserable. They ended up inducing her a week early because she was so uncomfortable! I really hope you can find some comfort!
