Anyone have the crock-pot hook up system

We're hosting Thanksgiving for the first time with more than 6 adults so I was thinking about doing a buffet style and investing in this system to help keep the food warm. We're looking at 10 adults. I'm not sure if the size of the crock-pot s which vary from 3.5 to 1 quart would accommodate the amount of sides I will have to cook to feed that many people. Do you think it would be a waste of money? We do entertain a few other times a year so I wouldn't be using them only for this one meal. Any advice is appreciated!

my parents gave my sisters and i each one for christmas last year. i have not used mine. my sister used in january for a party. we were supposed to use them for holidays, but i think we all forgot.. i could use it for a side this year.. maybe. it is on the small side for me since we have about 15 people at thanksgiving.
