Anyone have the curved shower curtain rod?
Love it? Hate it? Why?
We're considering going with the curved rod for our new bathroom but never had one.

Have one and DH and I LOVE it...hes a rather large guy and when we didn't have it he was always hitting his arms on the shower rod, now we get more room without having to make the shower larger..

I've had them in a couple of hotel rooms, and it definitely makes the shower roomier without taking up any additional space or cost in the bathroom.

They are great! I think the only concern with them is how much room you have directly outside the shower. For instance, at my IL's house, the toilet is directly next to the tub. Every time you go to use the toilet, you have to move the shower curtain out of the way.
But we have them in 2 of the upstairs bathrooms and they really do make a big difference!

Cool, thanks! We'll most likely keep the shower curtain open when not showering as we have a window in the shower/tub so I don't think it will interfere with the toilet.

We had it at our old place. Couldn't take it to the new b/r because there are only 2 walls, not 3. We LOVED the extra elbow room thought! We would definitely get another one!

For those that have them - do you have them in a standard shower or is it a tub/shower combo? I was wondering if one would work in our stall shower but with only a few inches at the shower base to hold the bottom of the curtain in, I wondered if it would tend to flip outside the shower base. I've only seen them in hotels where the tub is deep enough to accomodate more of the curtain so it doesn't move outside the tub.

We're going to use it with a tub/shower.
I would think if you mount it low enough so that maybe the curtain even skims the floor, it would stay. Or try to find a liner that has a weighted bottom hem to help.

LOOOOOOOOVE IT!
When I'm in a shower now that doesn't have it, I feel very cramped. It makes the shower seem so much more spacious.
