anyone have the Samsung Galaxy Tab?

verizon is selling it for $199

vs the motorola zoom for $599


thoughts?

I need to run flash and use power point for presentations- other then that it's just for fun

I brought a Tab for DD for games and videos and such. I like the tab but if if you have some more money, you get some real power with a nice screen for some more $$$

Major differences between Tab and Xoom.

Tab is running 2.2 and Xoom is running 3.1
Tab is 7" and Xoom is 10"

I got mine from AT&T for 199 as well. I never intend on using the data plan.

Xoom is capable of doing 4G but if you get it from Verizon, i think you are locked into a data plan. Unsure what Verizon does with Tab.

There are other android tablets out there.
Do you need to have remote data plan?

If you need wifi only, a fun tablet that i brought is the Asus Transformer. As far as tablets, this is more popular then the Zoom.

399 get you a power 10" tablet. An optional keyboard docking station will finish it to a solid tablet/laptop.

I need the data plan- I am going to want to pull up mlsli when on the road and showing houses

my company's tech expert says to go with the xoom

I have the money - I was just hoping to get a better deal- but it's not a good deal if I even up not using it b/c it doesn't fit my needs
