Anyone have the Uppababy Mesa and Vista?
If you do, do you still need a snap and go? DH and I got both as a gift and originally I was going to register for a snap and go as well but since the Mesa snaps right into the Vista base it's essentially the same thing. Just wondering what I should do.

I have the Vista and Mesa and don't have a snap go for the reason you mentioned. The car seats snaps directly into the Vista frame (as does the other accessories -- bassinet, rumble seat). I don't see the need for it!

Re: Anyone have the Uppababy Mesa and Vista?
I dont have the Mesa but I have a friend who does. Beware -- the seat is VERY heavy. We went with the Nuna Pipa which is very light (doesnt feel so light with my 19# baby in it but its 3-4 lbs lighter than the Mesa) and it attaches easily to the Vista with a simple adaptor. I think its comparable in price or slightly more. Worth a look. We are a one stroller family, no snap n go.

I know that based on weight the Mesa is a heavier car seat, but it honestly doesn't feel heavy to me. Granted, DD is only 1 month, but lifting it isn't a problem. I actually think its easier to lift than some other lighter car seats because of the design (especially the bend of the handle/bar).

Great, that's what I figured. One less thing I need to find room for lol Thanks!

I don't have the Mesa but I have the vista with the bracket that adapted for my infant seat. I also had the snap and go. I know people REALLY love that snap and go and it is definitely lighter and easier to manage but, IMO, it's a piece of crap, especially after you get used to using the Vista. It doesn't maneuver right, the wheels stink, the storage area is not as big, etc. I used it twice and then I just exclusively used the vista.

I used the Chicco with the Uppababy Cruz for about 6 months with my son. I never saw the point of the snap and go personally if you have a nice stroller.
