anyone have their mom's come to their sonograms?
I have my level II next week and my mother will be visiting. (I live in MD and she's in LI) I know it would mean the world to her to get to see the baby and hear the heartbeat. Did anyone have their DH and their mom's along for their appointments?
Since we are finding out the sex I may have her wait outside so it's just me and DH and she can come in towards the end.
Thanks for your input!

Our moms were supposed to come to the Level II, but my mom went to the doctor's office instead of the hospital, so she missed it.  MIL was so happy though.
I have a sonogram on Thursday and I think my mom and dad are both coming....
ALso remember that many of our moms never had sonograms, so the whole thing is new to them!

my mom as well as my il's, sil, sister, bil and bf all came to the 3d sono. They loved it and it was great to have all of them there with us

I haven't yet and was not planning on it, but my mom has asked me a couple of times now and reeeeeally wants to be there for a sono. Her best friend just had a baby and she was there for every single sono, so now she figured it's a given since this is her grandchild.
I was hoping it would just me something for DH & I to share, but I definitely can't deny my mom her request because it would mean the world to her.

Funny enough, my mom is coming with me today to my sono. My husband came to the last one and he can't take off from work for every one of them so I asked my mom if she wanted to come.
I don't think the peanut will look much different then last time... just a bigger peanut. My DH will come to the next big one where he will see some progress.
I think my mom feels honored to come. She is actually going to help me ask the Dr. questions because I am looking to switch drs since he doesn't deliver babies anymore.

I had so many sono's that eveyone came to one or another. My mom actually came to the one where they found out the sex of the babies (it was the 16 week one). My sister and my mother-in-law also came to some later ones too. I loved shared it with all of them.

My mom, MIL and FIL came to my sono at 12 weeks. We wanted to 20 week one to just be me and DH because we wanted to find out the sex, but they were so happy to come to any one.

Yes, I had my Mom come to see the baby and my MIL is coming Thursday morning......I think its really special for them.

My mom hasn't been to any, she lives in CT, but if I could have I would have had her there. I think it is a great idea.

My mom's coming to my ultrascreen. She's so excited! I actually would love for my dad to come to a sonogram - he's so into my whole pregnancy

My mom came with me and DH when we found out what the baby was at 19 weeks. She had never seen a sonogram before. Then later in the pregnancy when I was on bedrest she took me to the Dr a few times because I had to have sonograms done.

I had a sonogram last saturday and my mom and DH came. It ment so much to my mom to be apart of it. She also wanted to meet my DR. (SHe is still very protective of me)

She never offered to. I guess it never crossed her or my mind. First of all she woudl never make heads or tails of the sono anyway. I think I just might ask her to one. that would make her happy. She would love to see the birth but she is out of luck on that one. It's only a moment for myself and DH to share.(IMO)
