DD usually will sleep thru the night - but maybe about 1-2 times a week she will wake once during the night - sometimes at 1245, sometimes at 2 or 3 - I think our neighbors dog woke her tonight - but by the time I get her back to sleep I'm wide awake and then I can't go back.

What do you all do to go back to sleep when your DC wakes you up? I don't have this issue when she wakes at 5 or 6 for a feeding - I can usually go back to sleep for an 1-3 hours without a problem - it is the middle of the night wake ups that get me.

YES! if he wakes up after 3:30-4 I am done for. I have watched so much Roseanne (the only thing on at the time besides infomercials) in the last few weeks!

I used to be the best sleeper... since having kids I really have a hard time falling back to sleep... even when they are sleeping I feel like I am waiting for them to get up, it's horrible!
I just close my eyes and hope for the best!

I did pretty good last night ... DD was awake from 2:30-3:30 and I was wide awake by the time I put her back to bed, but I layed back down and was out cold again!!! And luckily it's 8:30 and she's still out Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

Yes. I have always been a crappy sleeper, unfortunately Chat Icon And every little noise, I wake up, even if DD isn't waking up and is just making noise, I'm awake. And if I have to get up to take care of her, it takes me a LONG time to fall back asleep. It stinks. I've always said it's a cruelest thing our bodies do to us it to prevent us from falling asleep when we actually have the time to sleep Chat Icon

Yes! Not so much if he wakes up earlier in the night, around 12 or 1, but if he wakes at 4 or 5, I really have trouble falling asleep again. Sometimes it seems as if I finally drift off, and that's when he wakes up again, or DH wakes up for work.

See and last night I never got back to sleep I went back down around 5 (but it was nice to have some alone quiet time - but NOT the way I imagined) and tried to sleep - but then she woke up at 630 and I never got back down.Chat Icon

Depends on what time he wakes up.
if it is after 4:30, YES!

Anytime before i am usually exhausted and will fall back. Even if it is for 15 mins when he wakes up again Chat Icon
