Anyone here have Atrial Fibrillation?? A-Fib?

Just curious... my symptoms have been pointing towards this for years however everytime I wera a holter monitor, I don't have any episodes... I don't think my cardiologist is taking it too seriously...

its not something a cardiologist will be overly concerned with especially if your young and otherwise healthy.. usually they just follow it
if you dont trust this cardio though go get a 2nd opinion... afibs not a huge deal as long as you are active ..this link has an overview..


are you on any aspirin or plavix? if not take one it will make you feel better as long as your cardio concurs obviously

my dad had a procedure done for this at St. Francis Hospital. His heart was beating too fast...it was the "electricity" that was going crazy-all over the place. The doctor did a procedure to "zap" the bad spots. This was done about 4 years ago, and no problems since. The doctor did tell him if that did not work, the other option would be a pacemaker.

If you are not happy with your doctor's response, I would get a second opinion.
