Re: Anyone here Polish? Or speak polish?
well it is not a Polish saying, Aristotle wrote that but it is in Polish:
Przyjaciele - jedna dusza w dwóch cialach
which means Friends - one soul, two bodies

I think Jola is Mishu over here.
Also, did you try alta vista babelfish? Actually, I just checked and Polish isn't one of the choices. But either way, google language translator and you may find a translator.

I believe Juliet speaks Polish...Her DH definitely does.
I know a few simple things, but DH was born and raised there. I can e-mail him at work and see what he can come up with. I can also ask my MIL.
I agree with checking with Jola, too. She speaks Polish. I ran into her in Bennigan's once and I was with DH and my MIL and she spoke to them in Polish.

Re: Anyone here Polish? Or speak polish?
I asked DH and he didn't know any sayings, but he suggested finding out when her name/saint day is and get her something with the story of her saint. It is really big in Poland, bigger than a birthday.

It passed already. She has parties for everyones name day, but getting something for her saint might be a good idea even as a gift...thanks..
