Anyone hit Bob's Discount Furniture?

I drove by on 110 and saw it there, I guess a grand opening and omg
it was PACKED!

Anyone get any good deals?

I need to look eventually.

they have great prices but we saw nothing we liked.

But they have cookies, a candy bar, and drinks while you are shopping. I enjoyed that part!!

we live in CT and we bought a kitchen table there and our den couches-


we have had the couch for about 4 years now-and during a move

and the kitchen table around 2 years

You are not getting furniture to last you a lifetime...but they have good prices and some nice furniture-not everything, but they do have some nice stuff---

My sister and BIL live in CT (where he first started out) and they purchased a living room set and bedroom set from there. The living room set didn't fare too well (about 5 yrs) but they still have the bedroom set and that's probably going on about 10 yrs.

I went to a new one out here in Rhode Island!

The free cookies, candies, coffee and ice cream was great!

The furniture was not my taste tho

and I CANNOT STAND the commercials!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We went there yesterday-- Some of the stuff is doable, especially if you are buying kids furniture, or furniture for a basement, or anything that you know will prob. not last forever. They do have some cute extra pieces that are nice-- jewelery chests and wine racks and stuff like that.

We went on Sat. and Sunday holy **** it was soooo packed.. they have great deals, but nothing we liked.

We have on in NJ and bought our bedroom set through them in their "discount" area. We bought the dresser, then a few weeks later we found the night stand and then six months later --- the mirror. We saved alot of money.

We love the treats -- some of the furtniture isn't my style but some of it is really nice and is a great deal.

Definitely check it out!

I went there a few days ago. I didn't think the quality was that great. It's ok for a basement or a den. You can purchase furniture for a whole room for real cheap. I did like their throw pillows, but they weren't for sale!
