Anyone induced at Winthrop

So its hitting me that I will be induced tomorrow...i am getting Cervidle at 8:00pm tomorrow night...Questions: are you in a room by yourself??? is it a delivery room??? are the beds more comfortable then the ones in the triage rooms??? Can DH stay with me in the room the whole time I am getting the medication??

Yes you'll most likely be in a delivery room(if it's busy with laboring moms they might put you in a triage room for the night but it would be a bed not a stretcher). The entire L&D dept rooms are all private and your DH will be allowed to stay with you the entire time until you deliver and go upstairs to the post partum floor(visiting up there for dads is 10-10). They'll have a recliner for him to sleep in. I would suggest bringing your own pillows though.

Hi!!! Glad to hear that you are going in soon!! Finally, right?! My water broke on 12/27, but I had to be given Cervidil b/c I was not progressing on my own. It was good.....you'll do great and the end result is sooooooooo amazing!!!! Good luck and post pics when you get a chance!!!

I was induced at Winthrop at 8 pm too!! I didn't need Cervidil though.....just petocin. I was allowed to have 2 people in the room with me, so my mom and ex-husband were in the room. I was in a room all by myself, one of the L&D suites. That's where I stayed the entire time.
