Anyone interested in a dog park visit Sunday?
I got a notice from the Retriever Meetup Group I'm a member of that they're meeting at some new dog park in Bethpage on Round Swamp Road. Has anyone been there?
Anyway, I asked DH but since they'll be football on, I'm not sure if he'll be keen on it. I don't think we have anyplace else to be so Brinkley and I might be going. Here's the notice if anyone is curious about the Meetup group:

Okay, so people keep telling me there's a new dog park in Old Bethpage. I haven't been there yet, and I hate knowing there's a dog park in my area that I haven't seen. So I thought, hey, let's have a meetup there and check it out! I'm hoping since it's new and a lot of people haven't heard about it, it won't be that crowded. They're saying it's going to be sunny and 60 degrees on Sunday, so let's get the dogs out for one last Indian Summer romp before the cold weather starts.
The dog run is located at the Old Bethpage Village Restoration on Round Swamp Road in Old Bethpage (exit 48 on the LIE). I thought we'd meet at 2 when it's nice and warm. If you're free, we'd love to see you there!
And if anyone with a fenced-in yard is willing to host one more backyard meetup before the cold weather comes, please contact me, Linda, Lori or Nicole so we can set it up. You can pick the time, the date, the number of dogs, etc. We'll bring the food. But we desperately need hosts for these meetups, so if you can, please open up your yard to our members. The dogs (and puppies) will thank you!

I have two labs, and would LOVE to go, but we can't do the dog park, a friend's lab was mauled by another dog... and I can't ever go, now. The dog is okay, but the other owner did nothing!
