Re: Anyone just stop feeling flutters....
I did with both pg's. It depends on the position of the baby where you wind up feeling them since they are so little.
With Gianna i would freak out cause I wouldn't feel her for a couple days.
It's totally normal though for the weeks of pg you are in :)
Def call the doc though if you are uncomfy or freaked out, I did many times.

Re: Anyone just stop feeling flutters....
There is just so much room in there for them at this point...if the babies back is facing out you arent going to feel as much. Dont worry.

Re: Anyone just stop feeling flutters....
Thanks so much...I was starting to freak myself out....maybe that's why I haven't been hungry and I feel so uncomfortable-because she is facing backwards? Thanks again.

I would feel her some days more so than others. If you are concerned why don't you call the office and just ask.

Re: Anyone just stop feeling flutters....
OMG, I am so glad you asked this question, because I have been FREAKING out.
I really only started to feel the baby every day since last saturday. Then yesterday, and today so far nothing. I was even online looking at dopplers because I think I need the reassurance when I can't feel the baby. I think you and I are at about the same timeframe weekswise?? I am almost 20weeks.
Ugh, the paranoia!!!! I have my level II on wednesday, so I am just trying to hold off becoming a maniac until then.

Yes, I will be 20 weeks on Wednesday...so we are on the same page then. I did kind of think it was the placement of the baby and when this started, my appetite diminished and I felt more bloated and had more heartburn. She must be leaning or pushing on something...Hang in there! Can't wait to hear about your Level II on Wed.!

I turn 20 weeks on Wed. too, so funny, so your due date is 10/10?
Did you alreay have your level II? How was it? I am wondering if they will let me tape it? I am excited. I keep going back and forth on finding out teh sex of the baby though, I keep thinking it will help me bond more, since I barely feel pregant.

Yes they just changed my date to 10/10! Our Level II was difficult since the baby wouldn't cooperate so we go back on the 30th for some more pics...That's fine with me because I want more pics! Plus, they said she's a girl but we didn't get any actual pics of it so I'm excited. I didn't ask about the taping but it's worth a try! It does make it feel more real too-you'll see!

Re: Anyone just stop feeling flutters....
i haven't felt flutters this weekend at all. i didn't have time this a.m. or i was going to use my doppler but i will tonite i was hoping they'd pick up now - not diminish. i'm 19 weeks and have my level 2 on Thursday so i don't want to annoy my doctor until then especially since she's only going to have me go in and use her doppler.

Re: Anyone just stop feeling flutters....
Since I've been having ligament-stretch pains and a bit cramping, I think my guy has a lot more room in there as before. I actually feel him turning and floating in there as opposed to the flutters and kicks I've been having before.

Re: Anyone just stop feeling flutters....
my flutters/kicks are definitely inconsistent. i'll feel them very strongly for a few hours at a time, and then a coupel days can go by without feeling much of anything. i think (hope!) it's normal to have such fluctuations.

I have been having a similiar experince. Although, lately after I eat I feel a little something. ( flutters/ tapping) I had a couple of Starbursts the other day and that baby went to town
When I asked the Dr about not feeling things all the time 2 weeks ago (19 weeks) they said. based upon the weight of the baby @ this point, the kicks and movements are lite. You really have to concentrate or you may not feel much.
