anyone know a 5k
I am going to start the couch to 5k program.
I am a long time "jogging" hater without every really trying to jog.
I feel like I need to have something to work towards and having a 5k date to work for seems like good motivation.
Does anyone know of any in July-ish?

There is the all girls race in July. Runners Edge hosts it.

I am just finishing the C25K this week and running my first race on Sat. I would totally recommend booking and paying for the race now so you won't back out! The program really works. It feels like, on week one, that there is no WAY it's going to but, it does. It's amazing.

i think this is the former Arrow race right? I love that race! I won $100 2 years is a row (for being fat and fast...LOL)
Also look into the NYS parks summer series. There is a great 4K and some great 5Ks. On Monday nights.
