Anyone know a manager at Blockbuster.... favor for DH.

Ok, I may not be explaining this correctly. My husband is a gaming fanatic and is waiting for Xbox 360. (He has about $350 worth of gift cards for Blockbuster). From what we understand, some blockbusters are allowing a select few customers to pre-order the system. Our local blockbuster stores say they know nothing about this. Supposedly the Staten Island Blockbuster might be taking preorders next week because it is a Game Rush store?.?. Anyway, would anybody be able to find out for me if there was a way we could pre-order one locally, Nassau preferrably, Suffolk OK too.... or at least allow us to preorder the system over the phone from the Staten Island store and then we would take the ride to pick it up when it was in.

I know you will be able to pre-order (reserve to guarantee your system) through GameStop/FuncoLand.

Not sure if Game rush (the gamestore within Blockbuster) does this though.

With GameStop/Funcoland you can trade in used games/DVD's and appply the credit towards the 360 purchase (this is what DH is doing and it will be paid off by the time it's out!!)

I am a store manager for blockbuster and we were never told about the new xbox yet..there are no game rush stores on Long Island.

DH works for GameSTop and you can find all info on the 360 at ww.xbox.com, including the price point.

For $399, you get the system and a bunch of accessories...including WIRELESS controllers!!
