Re: Anyone Know Access???
I don't even know where to start!
I need to create a database for keeping track of out licensing.
Here’s what I need contained.
User Name, Version, Version Type, Cost Center, PO #, Remedy #.
My boss wants to be able to search a name and come up with all the versions this persons has.
He also wants a count on the number of versions we have, the number of versions a cost center has.
It's really basic and I have it all in Excel but he wants to click a button and have it give him the results.
Do I create a Table with all these fields?
Do I create a table for each field?
I'm lost!

Re: Anyone Know Access???
If you have all this stuff in Excel already, you can import it into Access and then create queries based off of that table.

Re: Anyone Know Access???
I would start by making one main database or table. After you create the master database, you would use the query function to query out details that you need.
