Anyone know any of these dentists?
Dr. Barbara Slonecki, East Islip
Sachem Dental Group, Holbrook
Dr. Eyal Waldman, Patchogue
Dr. Lloyd Somonsen, Smithtown
Any recommendations/feedback?

I don't think these are the greatest dentists to be quite honest the insurance plan is not very good.
I just figure he has the ins. so I should just subscribe to a dentist to have one.
I'd much rather go out of network to a good dentist and pay the $.

DITTO!!!! My dh is always at the dentist and they were the WORST. Very rude and basically booked him with every dr. to get his teeth fixed which we could not afford to do. They gave us a price of $10,000 and thought we could just do it all in one shot!! I had to cancel so many appointments they made for him. It was costing us a fortune and they didn't make one difference.
We REALLY need a new dentist too as ours retired. We found one but we would really like to try another one out as my dh isn't 100% happy with him.

i also agree, i have heard stories about them and also they were very similiar to the place i use to work in where patients were not treated well, they were treated as a value not as a patient.

Yes, my dh was considered a number (a few of them for each dr.) not by name!!

I work at the Dental School in SB Univ. - many of the Drs here have their own faculty practice or an outside practice you can visit. FM me for any referrals!

I use Sachem Dental - however, I go to the office on Broadway Ave in Holbrook. Then they branched out and expanded - I tried going to the office on patchouge holbrook road and thought they were horrible there.
I've been going there since I was a little kid! I use Dr Ditola, he is wonderful.

I used to go to Sachem Dental before I moved, I actually liked it there???? BUT I also made the first appointment on a Saturday morning and was in and out.

I use Sachem Dental in Ronkonkoma and have no complaints, as a matter of fact, I needed to have extensive (& expensive) work done 2 years ago and I told them I couldn't because I had no money and they actually gave me a discount (along with a payment plan).

I complained about a toothache they xrayed it and 45 minutes when I got home the tooth cracked. I now pay out of pocket for dental because I like teeth!

I am actually a dentist myself and I am always willing to help out a fellow LIFamily friend but I may be a little far for you since I see the ones you are looking at are out east. I actually do not know any of the ones you asked about or I would tell you what I know.
