Anyone know anything about turtles?
I just found a little turtle in our backyard. I have no idea what to feed it. I have it in a container with regular water...is that right?

I would probably put it back in your yard. Can you take a pic of the turtle and FM it to me? My DH is a vet., and he sees a lot of exotics. Maybe I could give you more info with the pic.

Hmm, I am not sure what is good that you might have in your own house, but they sell turtle food at the pet store.

Put it back in the yard. It's probably a Box Turtle of some sort, and it will do better in its natural environment.

I agree, he's a wild animal and should be left there. They usually don't do well in captivity.
