Re: Anyone know how to cook Talapia?
I just put in foil with any marinade and bake. It's not fishy...so most marinades taste great.
Also, breaded and baked is great.

Re: Anyone know how to cook Talapia?
My dh's recipe: Crush/crumble ritz crackers, dice or cut up onion, and shredd cheddar cheese. Spray the talapia with some spray butter and then top with the above ingrid. I believe all the ingridients get mixed together and then you can top again with more cheese if you want.
I love it, it is so delicious! Good luck.

Re: Anyone know how to cook Talapia?
I just put some EVOO in the pan, with a little bit of chopped garlic. Add the tilapia filets and squeeze 1/2 lemon juice over them, and sprinkle with salt & pepper. It's simple and very delish.

This is one of my favorites to make, it is a recipe from Cooking Light.
Pecan-Crusted Tilapia
1/2 cup dry breadcrumbs 2 tablespoons finely chopped pecans 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder 1/4 teaspoon black pepper 1/2 cup low-fat buttermilk 1/2 teaspoon hot sauce 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour 4 (6-ounce) tilapia or snapper fillets 1 tablespoon vegetable oil, divided 4 lemon wedges
Combine first 5 ingredients in a shallow dish. Combine buttermilk and hot sauce in a medium bowl; place flour in a shallow dish. Dredge 1 fillet in flour. Dip in buttermilk mixture; dredge in breadcrumb mixture. Repeat procedure with remaining fillets, flour, buttermilk mixture, and breadcrumb mixture. Heat 1 1/2 teaspoons oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Add 2 fillets; cook 3 minutes on each side or until fish flakes easily when tested with a fork. Repeat procedure with remaining oil and fillets. Serve with lemon wedges.
This sounds great....I might make this for V-day!

DIRECTIONS Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C.) In a shallow baking dish, combine the olive oil, orange zest, orange juice, salt, pepper and chili flakes.
