Anyone know how to file for incorporation (LLC)?

Anyone know how to file for incorporation (LLC)?
I googled it & of course was bombarded with more ad-sites than info sites. Anyone know how to do this? Do I need an attorney to file? How long is the turn around time?

I did DE incorporation and just used a service (not a lawyer). similex.com - it was under $250.

There is a company in Hempstead that does Incorporations (I used to work there). The name is Blackstone.

I incorporated my business online through legalzoom.com - it was about $299 (including the state fees) and super easy to do! The process took less than one week.

when I did this for DH's company I did it through the state business website, it cost $150 to incorporate and then he had to pay for a business license

go to www.dos.state.ny.us and print out the form- you file that with the $200 fee.
you do not need a lawyer.
I just did this for my own business -it is easy.
