Anyone know how to make pics smaller in order to post them?

I was trying to post a few pics i took a few weeks ago. I took them on my cell and emailed them to myself then saved them to my computer. When I try to post them it says they're to big. Anyone know how to fix that?

You can upload them to your photo album on here, and then if you want to post them directly in a thread you right click on the picture from the album, copy the properties, then come back to your post and choose "Insert Web Image" and paste the properties in there. You can put all your pics in one post this way.

Resizing pictures makes them too small for blind people like myself to really see them. Chat Icon

I tried that also...lol. I can't even get them into my album. Hmmm...I don't know why that's happening.

That's weird, I never had a problem with the album.

As an alternative, you can upload them to shutterfly and then do the "insert web image" thing. That's what I usually do.

That's not working either. It has to be because I saved them from my email. I've never had this problem before. Thanks for your help!!

Re: Anyone know how to make pics smaller in order to post them?

-Right Click on the picture you want
-Click on Edit (this will bring it up in Paint)
-Click the Image tab
-Click Stretch/Skew
-Under the Stretch category, put the horizontal & vertical boxes to like 20%.
-Save As

And there you go. If 20% is too small, put it to 40% and so forth. Chat Icon

That's not working either. I think it's because it saved as Bitmap (*.bmp) whatever that is. Oh well.

yes you have to change it to jpeg format.

Try to Save As again and in the drop down box under the title of the pic, select jpeg.
