Re: Anyone KNow?? (Japan ELLE)
what about Barnes n Nobles in Manhattan, I would think they would carry it. Since they carry so many different magazines. Or try an asian candy store

There is a store across from Bryant Park on 40th between 5th adn 6th that sells fashion magazines from around the world. There is also a store on Broadway in Soho. Sorry, I don't know the names.

I wish I could remember what block I was on, there was the biggest magazine store I had ever seen. It was below 22nd and above 17th. I think it was along broadway or 1 block over. I will try and look for it again. Maybe DH remembers

Re: Anyone KNow?? (Japan ELLE)
There is a Japense book store in the Palisades Center in West Nyack ( Rockland County) & I know when we passed it DH said there was one in Manhattan too, but I can't think of the name of it. . . I think it is in Midtown. . .
Hudson news in Grand Central has some international magazines, but I don't think any Japanese. I can check though.

I know there is a store by my job (Rock Center area) that sells Asian books and magazines. I wish I could remember right now where it was. I *think* it is 48th or 49th between 5th and 6th.

I think that is the one I am thinking of.
I think this is what we were both thinking of:
Kinokuniya Bookstore 10 W 49th btwn 5th & 6th Aves, 212-765-7766
Japanese books, origami paper, etc. Very large and usually very busy. Japanese tour buses stop here because of its proximity to Rockefeller Center. A bit expensive but much better than any other Japanese bookstore in New York.
Jess, there is a phone 3, so you can ask if they carry it & if Nov is out yet.
