Anyone know of a neurologist?
I know someone who was just diagnosed with MS I feel horrible....my mother and FMIL are both nurses and they couldn't think of anyone so I thought I would ask on LIF....This girl is in her 20's and was just diagnosed a few weeks ago....she is trying to get a second opinion but the symptoms...according to my Mom really sound like she has MS....Please pray for her and let me know if you know of a good neurologist...TIA everyone!

I am not sure what neighborhood you are looking, but Dr. Ajay Misra in Massapequa & Mineols 9 he has 2 offices) is fantastic.

My sister's neurologist is all the way in New Haven, but he's supposed to be one of the very best. His name is Dr. Ganel. he was actually the neuroligist on sight when David Blane did his stupid underwater stunt a few weeks ago.

Dr. Heimovic is wonderful. He's also been selected as one of America's Best Doctors pretty consistently.

I use to see Dr Jeffrey Kessler in Manhasset. His office was right across from North Shore Hospital. He was my former fiances neuro. & he had MS & my neuro. I just don't see him because I can't get to him because I don't drive.  I LOVED HIM!!!!

Dr. Lauren Krupp at Stony Brook. She is at the forefront of MS research and treatment. She specializes and pediatric and adolescent MS, but treats people of all ages. She has also received grants from the National MS Society and many other foundations for her continued research and developments.
