if its still there, there's a tgif on 51st between 6th and 6th. there should also be a tgif on 5th and about 48th or 49th st

Ellens Stardust Diner. The waiters/waitresses sing and dance. They have kids meals- mac and cheese, chiken nuggets.
It is on 51st and Bway.
They will love it!

Ellen's is IIRC, but FYI the food is terrible and it's very cramped in there. The atmosphere is fun though!

I second this - I brought my niece and nephew there and they were amazed and entertained the entire time. There is also a train that goes around the entire restaurant.

I love this place, and yes...it's in walking distance. Also, you can go to Rock Center Cafe, they are very accomodating and the atmosphere (the rinc right there and all) is very nice. It's on the same block.
