Anyone know of any place I can donate new and used toys?
Molly got so much from her birthday party yesterday. I want her to donate one new toy and some of you used toys. Does anyone know of a women's and children's shelter that can use these items?

I don't know of a shelter but St. Mary's Children's Hospital in Bayside would gladly take them for their patients.

FM sunflowerdmsrn. I think she volunteers with a domestic violence shelter or something along those lines...

You can try Hope House Ministries in Port Jeff. They run a shelter for women with children. Not sure of the location. I'm not sure of any other ones and I don't think they advertise them due to security issues for women that are leaving abusive situations.
Another idea is to donate to Stony Brook Hospital for the children that have extended stays there. They only accept new toys though.
