Anyone know of any SAHM looking for PT Nanny work?
With #2 on the way, and Eddie starting kindergarten not long after I go back after maternity leave, the logistics of getting one off to school, another to daycare, one home from school and another then home from daycare is making my head spin.
Eddie will be remaining in his current daycare until he starts kindergarten - no need to uproot him when he is almost done.
Im looking for someone in the Smithtown/Nesconset area who will watch a newborn 3 days a week, 8:30-5:30, and then do an elementary school pick up or off the bus 3 days a week for Eddie.
Otherwise, we were thinking of doing a regular daycare center for the baby and just someone to get Eddie off the bus after school 3 days a week until we got home at 5:15 if you know any moms interested in that.
My house, their children welcome.Anyone know of anyone reliable and trustworthy?
We are also planning to offer 2 weeks paid vacation and paid holidays on the days we are off from work bc the office is closed for a holiday. The caretaker would be allowed to drive around with the baby to run a reasonable amount of errands or outings to the park, etc.
Im still checking care.com and the NYS site but I figured Id ask here if there were any SAHMs looking to make some extra money.

I don't know of anyone, sorry...but many school districts offer after care for students whose parents work late, so that might be an option for you.

thanks! mine does, I just hate for him to have to spend such a long day at school and want him to be able to come home after school. Plus, the thought of two kids, all in different places needing to be picked up at different times is making me a crazy woman 
Thanks, definitely an option though, just hoping to avoid it.

Wanted to add -- Good Luck with finding someone! I know how stressful it can be figuring out the logistics..
So far, I have a few good leads from moms on here who are interested, so that is awesome! All of who look great, I just want to interview a few. Thanks for the well wishes!
