Anyone know of someone who can host a wine tasting party at home?

I thought this would be a nice thing to do in the fall...

Host an at home wine tasting party with a fall harvest theme.

You can do that very easily on your own, ask each guest to bring a different type of wine, and you could go get a gourmet cheese platter from uncle giuseppes or some place like that, home goods has a ton of fall accessories in stock for a nice tablescape, no need to hire someone

I'd love to know the answer to this too! DH, my parents, and I did our own wine tasting a few weeks back at our house, but I'd love to find someone to host one too.

there's a fantastic wine guy at MAB in east meadow, and once i have my own house i plan on asking him to do my mom's bday one year..

he's a tall guy (the tallest one there)

don't know how much he would charge though..but he's insanely good with wine

My friends and I have done it on our own. We pick a specific region or country and all bring a bottle. We also try to make an appetizer keeping with the country. Say you do Italian wines- you can do cheese and meats, a pasta dish, cheesy garlic bread, eggplant rolatini, app size meatballs, prosciutto wrapped asparagus, etc...

Whoah.... Didn't realize how expensive this could be! Went to michael's and found cute burlap bags to wrap around the bottles ( for a blind wine tasting), tags, and I will print out wine cards! Guess I dont need to be do formal to have fun!
