Anyone know/recommend a place...
upstate where we can rent a cabin or a house with a few friends?
We don't want a bed and breakfast.
This might get moved to the travel board...but we'll see...

We used to go to the 1000 Islands and stay at a state camp site up there that had cabins.
Most State Parks - even Adirondacks will have cabins/lodges available for people to rent for a weekend/week.

we usually go up to lake tachonic during the end of sep/beg on oct it is really nice. we rent log cabins. they have kitchens and electric but the showers are seperate.

We used to get a 3 bedroom cottage
Unfortunately though the prices have gone up ..but it is clean, fun and just a really nice place to hang out...they have grills outside each cabin
There is a lake on the premises and camelback mt is about a 5 min drive if that
