Anyone know the going rate for a face painter?
I'm trying to see if this is something else I can squeeze in my kid's communion budget. We went to one today and now he just has to have one. Lawd help me!

I used clowns.com and I think it was like $245 plus tip for an hour. There were 2 people that came and entertained the kids with face painting, magic show, balloon twisting, games.

Try Adrenaline Entertainment. I have used them in the past and they are good too. They might have availability.

I was totally clueless. In MY mind, I figured like $150. No. The cheapest I got was $225.

Lol! I hear ya.
Honestly, I’ve seen preteens do a decent job at church events. I’d hire one for $40-50 and pay an extra $10-20 for the supplies and give that a shot! They can draw pirate patches and flowers as well as the $200/hr people!!!

Wow these prices are ridiculous! I can't believe people pay that!!
Any party I've ever been to has had an older sister, aunt or mom friend doing the face painting. Kids don't care if it's not "professional" even though most face paint kits give very easy to follow instructions.
