Yes! I've been to Dr. Snyder in Smithtown. It was 2 years ago and he was great.

I think I went to Dr K Paticoff in Deer Park. He was ok. I was so afraid he could have been the best Dr in the world and I still wouldn't have liked him.

I had a consult w/ Dr Bill Schneider in Huntington on Monday - all 4 of my wisdom teeth are impacted sideways and need to be removed. LOOOVED this Dr. - he's relatively young (early 40s), was very thorough, and all the office workers were nice, too.
I work in a medical office, so I'm usually overly critical - and I liked this place!

Yes I know of Bass an Berg- Try to see Bass- allthough Berg had an accident years ago- DH had him and besides sticking his lip with the needle he did a good job!

Unfortunately he is not in my dental plan and cannot afford to pay out of pocket.

Thank you for all of your recommendations. These are the Dr.'s who are covered in my plan. Although well known, my old oral surgeon is such an arrogant ****. I told him at almost 7 months pregnant how nervous I was blah, blah, blah he couldn't give a rats azz. I burst out into tears when I left his office and vowed never to go back.
I need a doctor who is compassionate and will explain EVERYTHING to me and not make me feel like I'm putting them out with my questions.
