Anyone know what happened on Motor Pkwy in Islandia today?
I went to WAMU on the corner of Motor Pkwy & Vets Hwy this afternoon at around 1pm and there were tons of cops running all around the wooded area across from the bank with their guns drawn... and a police helicopter circling overhead.

Omg. I work SO close to there.
That is really scary. I have no idea what happened and there's nothing on Newsday either.

I used to work about half a mile from there and rollerblade past there on my lunch break all the time. I thought it was a safe area
