Anyone know what happened on rt 110 in Melville last night/this morning?
We were coming home around 3:00am and the road was closed off by the 7-11 by Old Country Rd. DH and I turned down the side street and saw a gurney with them pulling a white sheet over it. There were no cars around we were thinking someone got killed walking across 110? Can't find any info online

The guy at 7-11 is wrong, she was 29 and went to Whitman and was an all around sweetheart. I can't believe this happened.

This is what I don't get...I've been looking everywhere.
I just heard this morning that the arrangements are for Wed/Thurs and the funeral is Friday.
I feel so terrible for her family and friends. She had such a huge loving group of girlfriends. They're all beside themselves.
This is all I've been able to think about since I heard.

They were at a Halloween party at DH's friend's house. They left to go get something from 7-11 and she was hit and killed on the way back to the party. I haven't seen anything on the news yet. So terrible.
