Anyone know why it is raining inside my chimney right now?
And yes the damper (I think that's what it's called) is closed. This sucks!

Mine too  and my damper is closed as well. DH went up and tried sealing it off with some special type of silicone stuff but obviously that didn't work

This is terrible.....I put a pot in there and a towel to soak up the water. Let me know if you find anything that works.....I'd hate to call a chimney company.

I did the same. Mine is leaking so much that it came into the room right under my kids toy bin. TG I have a tile floor in the with a throw rug!!!!!

We've been having this issue as well and are having a mason come by tomorrow to assess the situation. We already know that the chimney needs to be repointed...and we have a cap but it obviously isn't sealed properly.
Not fun with a 21m old who loves to play with water LOL

we just had our chimney cleaned/new damper/cap and liner installed last year (november) and so far no rain so it might be a broken seal which is worth replacing.

Yes Chimney cap is there....cap,damper ect... are only about 3 years old
MommaG.....work wasn't done near chimney.
