Anyone looking to split/get rid of hostas?
I have a big area in my backyard that I want to put hostas in, I'd need about 20 plants.
Is anyone getting rid of / splitting hostas and looking to unload?

I have 3 that I've been mowing over since last summer. I thought that would surely kill them but was wrong.
You can have them if you want.

I have a million of them at the house we just bought and we're starting construction soon...they will probably be wrecked so if you want them, let me know. It's in RVC.

They never go away. I dug them out of the ground and it still came back. I guess I need to dig out 3 feet x 3 feet area!

We have some that we will be getting rid of in June -- almost all our landscaping has to come up in order for the construction to begin.
We're in Blue Pt.

If these parasites aren't dead by next summer they're getting dug out.

If there's one thing I admire about Hosta, it's their tenacity without being invasive.
When I dug mine out and separated them, I did have big holes, but I did about one shovel length out/deep. Only one of them came back and I didn't have the heart to rip that one out so it stays.
