Anyone make their own veggie dip?
or should I just buy it premade?
I've been assigned veggie dip for a dinner party - they know I'm kitchen challenged , but I'd like to bring something fresh rather than bottled.
Any receipes out there?

I mix my own with a container of sour cream and an envelope of lipton vegetable soup! You can always throw in a package of defrosted and drained chopped spinach to make a yummy spinach dip!

Re: Anyone make their own veggie dip?
I make the dip on the back of the Knorr Vegetable Mix. It's mad sour cream and spinach. I hollow out a round bread and fill it with dip. Cut up the bread inside of the bread and serve with the Dip.
if you want to buy a premade dip, the Spinach Artichoke dip from Costco is very good.

Re: Anyone make their own veggie dip?
I make a GREAT dill dip, not from a package. Gotta love dill though.
Let me know if you want the recipe.

Re: Anyone make their own veggie dip?
it's so easy to make your own! just roast a bunch of veggies (whatever your favorites are) and an onion in the oven for 20-30 minutes at 400 degrees and then blend them in a food processor with a combination of sour cream and cream cheese. try it - you'll love it!
