Anyone near Islip Airport???
A fighter jet has come over twice but I keep missing it!!
I am at work and it comes right over the building-soooooo coool!!!

I'm right up the street. I could hear it while I was outside on my lunch, but I didn't see it. It makes me excited for the show this weekend.

Two flew over my house yesterday morning!!
It was the weirdest thing - I said to DH (cause we always have planes flying over) that plane sounds a little low. Then I looked up through our skylights and there they were - it was pretty cool. So I was running through the house to see them through other windows

Do you have to have a ticket to see the show at Jones Beach? If you do does anyone know where you can get them or if you can just get them there that day?

My brother works there and when those jets are there we go to the airport and stand on the run way and watch them take off...its awesome....Oh and REALLY loud.

It's the Blue Angels squadron. They're doing a show at Jones Beach this weekend. I live near Annapolis, MD where they did a show and the US Naval Academy graduation fly over this past week. My elementary school let the kids out on our playing field to let the kids watch.
Being in this area- its a common occurance to see- yet I am amazed every time.

every now and then we hear one taking off from McArthur airport. everything in the house shakes - it's really cool, but I'm very happy it's ONLY once in a while
