Anyone not doing cards this year?
I dropped the ball. Took pictures too late and now it’s either they are too expensive for the ones I originally wanted because I missed the sale or they won’t arrive in time for the Walgreens ones or I’m not a fan of the designs at Walmart.
So I’m thinking I’m just going to scratch them.
Am I alone?

If it makes you feel better I never do cards. Not even to those who send them to me.

I did this year, but only bc my son's bar mitzvah was in May and an excuse to use some prof photos. LOL
I didn't last year and I don't think next year. I know a bunch of friends who didn't. I think I'm done after this year. Boys are getting too old anyway. lol

If the cost/time factor is the only thing that's stopping you, check Groupon. Staples has a groupon for something like $24 for 50 cards. You get the Groupon and then go on the Staples website to make your card and then pick up in store. They're usually done in a day.
If you just don't want to send out cards, then don't worry about, just don't send them out. I'm definitely getting fewer and fewer cards each year!

Haven't done them in years. Kids are older and when I do get ones of kids, they are ones that I have seen on fb anyway. Not sure what the point is.
It used to be nice years ago when you could see kids growing up. Now you see these kids in pictures every single day on social media and you are not surprised at all at their growth

I was really close to not doing one this year but I do an ornament card every year and I don't want to have a year gap. My kids are getting older now though so not sure how long I will continue. I wish Holiday cards would go digital like everything else has!

I have never done cards - I'm so not a card person. We used to get a TON of cards years ago and every year it whittles down. You're not alone.

Can’t you order Walgreens for in store pick up if you wanted to? My coworker sent her card yesterday and picked them up today.

Walgreens, staples, Walmart and CVS all do in store pick up.
I ordered from photoaffections last week on Monday night and had them by Friday. They have a good Groupon too.
My sister ordered from Shutterfly and did express shipping on the same day (extra $20) and she still doesn’t have them.
I personally like receiving photo cards from friends and family. I keep them, but I think I might be the odd man out.

I know a lot of people who said they aren't doing them this year because of time constraints. I did mine through Walgreens photo, it was ready for pickup the same day and they always have coupon codes for half off.

No cards this year for the first time in over 15 years. We rarely receive cards in return. We haven’t had anyone even mention that they received it in all the years. So we’re done with that.

I did cards this year but skipped last year -- It was a struggle letting go of feeling like i HAD to do cards-- but everyone survived! If you have pics and want to do a card you can try Staples -same day pick up. They may even have a groupon.

Only do it because you want to, not because you feel like you have to.
I send cards every year to about 50 people. I didn’t last year bc my oldest dog died in early December and I wasn’t feeling festive.
You can always do same day at a big box store or just buy generic cards from dollar tree to send your well wishes out. Doesn’t have to be photo cards
