anyone not having any sort of winter them to their holiday cards (pic of my design attached)
I was all excited to do my own photoshoot at the ecology center. I still plan to go but I want to wait until there are more decorations up and now my son has a bad sinus infection. I was also planning to take some photos with plain background paper and a small sleigh that we have. I was just afraid those pictures might come out very plain. I will still get a holiday photoshoot at some point whether I do it myself or I have someone else do it. I just don't know if it will happen in time for me to get cards. We are Jewish, so our choices for a holiday look are sort of limited.
So, I made a photo collage card from a professional photoshoot that we had done at the beach. I have rights to the pictures so that is not an issue. Should I use that collage? Some people will have already seen those pictures. Some others are our friends from Fire Island, who would love to see these photos because they know us, the place and even the photographer (a lot of people who go there know her and her work). Should I wait to do my planned photoshoot or send the card with the beach photos?
This is the card.
I realize that the font is not the greatest but I like it anyway. I'm not looking for anything sophisticated and if we did have more of a winter theme, it would probably be like this (hope it posts).

I love the collage, but it does look really summery. I'd hold out for winter shots.

I love the collage, but it does look really summery. I'd hold out for winter shots.

but it is a gorgeous collage.

If he is feeling better, maybe we can do that. Right now his face and lips are chapped and he isn't feeling great. We have the Bar Assoc. holiday party that starts at 4 on Friday & he needs to be sort of dressed for that anyway.
The other thing about the shoot from the summer is that we got so many files but I keep using the same ones (for scrapbooking, as gifts, framing. etc.).
