Anyone not wearing a dress to their shower?
I tried on a million dresses today and I looked like Shamu. Especially in the cotton dresses.
I know it's for a good cause, but it is still upsetting.
So it looks like a nice top and capris/pants for me.

i planned on wearing a dress to my shower but the morning of it no longer fit! i wore black dressy pants, heels, and nice shirt. (work-type clothes)

I did not for my shower or for my sprinkle.
Shower was in the winter right before xmas so wore a pretty red sweater and dress pants.
My sprinkle was @ my IL's backyard, and I could not find a dress for the life of me. So capris and a nice cotton top it was for me. Good thing too b/c it was 95 degrees and humid as hell lol.

I wore a nice shirt and legging capris and some cute accessories. I was soooo comfortable! It works out better anyway when you are sitting in front of everyone opening up gifts...no worries about flashing people! I must say... its harder to open gifts when you are pregnant...way different than the bridal shower.. lol.

I wore a shirt, capri dress pants and heals. I hate dresses on me period, even prior to being pregnant.

I rarely wear dress pregant or not. Ny Shower was in November so I wore black pants and a nice light sweater

I think that is fine. I came very close to wearing pants and a top, also!
For my LI shower, I actually wore a skirt and top. But, I did find a dress I really liked for my NC shower.

I didn't, I wore jeans and a dressy non maternity top because the maternity stuff looks huge on someone who is only 4'10 like myself. All the maternity dresses were like tents hated them.

I was in the same boat as you. I have tried a milllion dresses and I cant stand the way I look, so yesterday I was at BRU and they had a small maternity section. I decided to look and actually found a shirt and capri set. It is black and white and I love it. I am excited!!

I didnt wear one...I wore black pants and a top. I just wanted to be as comfortable as possible opening gifts in front of everyone!

I felt like a whale in dresses during my first pregnancy as well. My shower was in August and I wore beige capris and a smocked/flutter sleeved top (actually I'm wearing it today--almost five years later!). It was also outside at my mom's house and supposed to be a surprise (it wasn't), so I guess I didn't want to get too dressed anyway.

I wore pants. I hated how I looked in dresses, it was winter, and I didn't want to spend any more money on new maternity clothes.

I wore really nice dressy white capri pants and a navy top with cute white sandals!!! I was SO comfortable and glad I wore that instead of a dress. Of course, I bought 3 outfits and ultimately decided an hour before that I was wearing the capris...just make sure you will be comfortable in whatever you choose!!!
