anyone out there with really short cycles?

My cycle was only 18 days this time around. How weird right? Is this bad? Anyone in the same situation as me?

I have AF right now and she's kicking my Arse! Like the worst cramps ever! I hate her!

My cycle is really long, 34-38 days. I went off the pill in May & this is what I have been dealing with. However, one of the months since May, I had a 26 day cycle. I know that is still longer than 18, but it was odd that it was that short - then it went right back up to the 30's the next month. 18 is quite short, but I would see what it is next month before you worry about it. I figured mine was just my body adjusting to being off the pill & since my cycle length went back up higher since that month, I kind of forgot about it. I have AF now as well & she is driving me crazy!! Best of luck, Merry Christmas.

thanks so much for replying. Merry christmas to you too! Thank god for this website or I'd be such a basket case with out support. I was crying to my DH all morning yesterday. I don't know about anyone else, but I try not to talk about it with family and friends so much b/c I don't want them to worry about me.

are you coming of bcp? cause that would explain erratic cycles. if you weren't on the pill and cycles as short as 18 days are typical for you, i would let your doctor know. if this cycle was just a fluke, i would let it go and see what happens in the next few cycles.

my girlfriend had really short cycles and she had a luteal phase issue (shortened time following ovulation or your ovulating occurs early) and had to go on fertility drugs to extend her cycles, she has a beautiful one year old now def contact your doctor to see whats going on

I have very short cycles around 18-20 days also- Ididnt have an issue getting preggo though. I knew from my CM ( sorry tmi) when it was time to BD- got preggo on the first try
