Anyone painting their nursery a neutral ivory/ecru?

While I love pink, I don't see myself painting the whole room that. Once I decorate I feel like it'll be too much.

I wondered if anyone had pics of their nursery with neutral walls.

Re: Anyone painting their nursery a nauetral ivory/ecru?

I know of one that's beige on beige stripes (I loved it!!), but I can never remember her exact name. I'll do a search for you...

I found a pic but there was no furniture in the room just yet.

Every room in our house is NC home builder beige..we have no plans on painting. We are however, going to hire a muralist to do a wall. The all pink/blue nursery isnt for me.

Not beige, but we're keeping the color in the room (since it was just painted about 7 months ago) - BM Cement Gray...it's a pale grey. Looks blue or lavender in some light.

This is the room after it was painted...

We are using Behr's Cala Lily. It's a neutral ivory.

We did half the walls pink and half ivory sepearated by a neutral border. The room had blue carpeting which we were going to change, but it looks nice b/c there is blue in the border - so we decided to save $ and not change it.

I actually really like how the nursery came out. It has pink but its not overwhelming...

We don't have pictures yet (DH is painting as we speak), but we are painting the mouldings and beadboard (below a chair rail) a color called honey milk (just a smidge off white -- trim color for my whole house) and above the beadboard is a creamy color.

DH is painting in two weeks - I can post pics then Chat Icon

But the names of the paint we chose is Behr Peanut Butter for 4 walls and the 5th wall in our room is Smoky Topaz - a little more brown then cream.

I can't wait to see more pics. I am glad to hear I am not the only one going more neutral with the walls.

We went with neutrals color too.

BM Baby's Breath for the Wall

Crown Moulding and Wainscotting is a Cream (It is BM, but I can't rememeber exactly what color)

Ceiling is light mint green color (It is BM, but again I can't remember the exactly what color it is)

Here are a couple of pics:

Here is the mint green ceiling with the cream crown moulding and baby's breath wall

Re: Anyone painting their nursery a neutral ivory/ecru?

Here's 2 pics of the nursery. We still have to get the radiator cover installed, the carpets cleaned and obviously the furniture delivered, though that'll all happen in the next week and a half. The color of the walls and lighter stripe is BM Hepplewhite Ivory; the color of the darker stripe is Powell Buff.

Re: Anyone painting their nursery a neutral ivory/ecru?

We are leaving the baby's room walls alone - we just had them painted when we bought the house 3 years ago. The walls are linen white. Colors will be added via linens, window coverings, pictures, etc. The rug is gray burbur (sp?) with splashes of pink, blue, green, etc.
