anyone plan a pregnancy but not feel quite ready?
my DH and i would love to have kids sooner than later, but there are times when i feel we are just not ready.
i cant put my finger on it, maybe im just not ready to be pregnant!

I am pregnant now and I STILL don't feel ready. I think that is why they give you nine months to adjust to everything. I am over 35 so I knew we couldn't wait much longer but I would have if I was younger. I think it takes time to adjust to this big change in your life.

I knew I wanted to have a baby and even then, I wasn't 100% ready. I don't think anyone is 100%. When the time is right, you'll know.

Re: anyone plan a pregnancy but not feel quite ready?
I had this discussion with my Gyn the last time i was there. I want to start planning the next one (actuallly i have a plan ) but DH says he isnt ready. So my dr. tried to tell me that there will always be something. You will always need more money, the house will never be big enough, there will never be enough time in the day, but everyone manages and its not so bad. Having children is a big sacrifice, but one like no other. I had my daughter at a very young age and dont regret it one bit. We had nothing then, and we managed the past 5 years, and when we decide to have another we will manage then. Good Luck with your decision.
