We went to NH last Summer, LOVE it there. Santa's Village is adorable. I Hadn't even looked at the calendar for next school year yet!

I'm considering it but I might keep her out one extra day to make it 5 days so we can go to Florida. Probably the gulf coast. Not sure yet though

Santa's Village is an amusement park, so there are rides and a waterpark. Everything is Christmas themed. They have snowtubing without snow, it's just so cute! Wish I had discovered it sooner!
Clark's Trading Post is in the area also. Great place with bumper boats, rocking climbing, runaway train ride, etc. But the main focus are the bears that they have raised since they were cubs. My kids LOVED the bears!
You could go to Mount Washington and take the Cog Railorad to the top. Also many of the ski mountains have zip lining, gondola rides, etc.
Story Land is also in the area, another amusement park. Looks cute
There is also the National Forest and the Kancamagnus Highway. Tons of waterfalls, hiking trails off the highway. So scenic and gorgeous.
We might go again this Summer and stay at Riverwalk at Loon Mountain also. It looks really nice there. I have been watching their progression since construction.

Very interesting. What hotel did you stay in or did you rent a cabin?

Marriott..Fairfield Inn Plymouth since it was free with points. Residence Inn North Conway is nice. The Hamton Inn has a waterslide.

Re: ANyone planning any trips for the 4 day weekend in September?
Is this the Rosh Hashanah week/weekend? DD and I often go away by ourselves during this break- DH teaches college and his school does not close. But since DD is off, we always take a little trip. We went to Great Wolf Lodge in New England which was a lot of fun, and last year we went to Mystic CT. This year we are going to Salem MA.
If you're going to to anything I'd book soon- I have been surprised how popular going away with kids on that break is- when we went to Great Wolf I ran into two families I knew from school and places have been crowded for September weekdays.
I always try to stay within 3 hours though I don't live on LI- Mystic is only 2 hours from me.
