Anyone prescribed antibiotics for you and DH for an IUI cycle?!
I just came back from the RE and was given a prescription for doxycycline for me and DH.
What is the point of this?  Anyone else done this before?

Yep! We took it for all of our IUI's and IVF treatments. It's an antibiotic to keep you healthy - make sure you don't get a virus or get sick. Good Luck!!!

i was also told if you or dh has an underlying infection it will clear it up...ie make spermies better etc good luck ..dh is on anti's too

both DH and I did doxycycline last cycle as well for 7 days. ironically i didnt trigger until CD21 so who knows if it mattered
